Above is the view from our “bathroom” in the cabin we were staying at in Nathrop, CO. When I say “bathroom”, I mean a long-drop which Victoria and Joel thought was very cool - there were a lot of trips down the path to the little room (see further photos by clicking below). We returned home yesterday after getting through the blazing desert heat heading west from the Rockies. Prior to our vacation in the cabin (thanks Wendy and David) we attended CRM’s US staff conference in Estes Park, where the speakers were Alan and Deb Hirsch. It was a busy few days with Jen singing, I working and we collectively caring for the children. Vacation was well-deserved after that. (more…)

We are off to Colorado tomorrow (by car) to go to our US Ministries conference in Estes Park. Jen and I honeymooned there almost 10 years so it will be fun to go back, see friends and ministry partners, get some work done and hang out with the family. That finishes on Thursday and on the way home we are spending a few days vacation in a friends “rustic” cabin somewhat near Aspen - more family time and a little fly fishing to boot! We will let you know if we see a bear! Until our return we will be offline.
We just completed a video for our friend Mike and Susanne Brantley in New Orleans who are establishing Communitas New Orleans - an expression of faith for both a city and a generation. You can see it on YouTube.
